This in-person camp will delve into the world of podcasting and guide campers through the process of creating a podcast. Students will learn about various genres of podcasting and methods of storytelling, sourcing audio, recording best practices, and how to edit content. They will meet a rotating cast of podcasters that make content for kids and families–including other kid podcasters. They will learn about free and budget podcasting tools available and be able to create a short first episode by the end of camp. All experience levels are welcome. Ideas, hopes, dreams, stories, experiments, curiosity, and silliness are highly encouraged.
